Shawn Deaton works with successful professionals across North America who are at a transition point in their careers—seeking a new challenge, feeling stuck in their current path, or navigating a job change due to layoffs or downsizing. As a Career Ownership Coach with The Entrepreneur’s Source, he helps clients take control of what comes next by exploring business ownership in a safe, strategic, and educational way. Shawn guides individuals in clarifying their goals and priorities, evaluating options, and moving forward with greater clarity and confidence—whether that means pursuing the right business opportunity, landing a better role, becoming fully self-sufficient, or combining employment with ownership.

A lifelong Northeast Ohio resident, Shawn and his wife are the proud parents of two high schoolers and several rescue pets. He retired after 38 years in field of Information Technology, including tenure with National City and PNC Banks, before launching his coaching practice. A graduate of Tiffin University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, and a Master’s of Cybersecurity.
