Kristen Spenceley has been aiding small businesses for over 20 years, through both credit and sales roles in commercial banking, with time spent in Business Banking, Middle Market and SBA.

Before joining Live Oak this year as Vice President – Senior Loan Officer, she spent 6 years as a SBA Sales Specialist at KeyBank, covering southwest and central Ohio. She has originated and closed countless SBA loans and earned the President’s Circle recognition in 2021 for closing over $50MM in SBA loan in a single year.

Prior to joining KeyBank, she was on the SBA Credit & Underwriting team for Fifth Third Bank – reviewing and approving new SBA loans. This experience gives her a unique perspective when helping new clients today, allowing her to view each deal holistically and ultimately benefitting the customer.

Kristen originally grew up in the Cleveland area but after graduating from Miami University of Ohio, she settled in the greater Cincinnati area. Today she resides in Liberty Twp, Ohio with her husband, stepdaughter, and two sons. When she isn’t busy running her kids to all their sports, she enjoys various outdoor activities, including golf and skiing.
