John A Bonfiglio
John is a founding partner at BSB Partners CPAs & Business Advisors with over 30 years of experience in the accounting profession. John leads the Business Accounting and Advisory Services area of the practice and has extensive experience advising clients on the financial, business and tax issues facing today's business owners and entrepreneurs. John currently serves on the advisory board for several businesses and has functioned as the outsourced financial officer for several other businesses. John started his career with an international accounting firm and, prior to forming BSB Partners CPAs & Business Advisors, was a principal with a regional accounting firm.
John is a magna cum laude graduate of Baldwin Wallace where he obtained a Bachelors of Arts degree in Accounting. He is also a summa cum laude graduate of Case Western Reserve University where he holds a Masters Degree in Accounting with a concentration in Taxation from the Weatherhead School of Management. John was an adjunct professor in the Weatherhead School of Management for several years before founding BSB Partners.
Active in the community, John was on the Board of the Cleveland Leadership Center and was its inaugural Treasurer. He is a proud member of the 2015 Leadership Cleveland and 2003 Cleveland Bridge Builder classes. John is also on the Board of the Meredith A. Cowden Foundation. He was a former Trustee and Treasurer for Adoption Network Cleveland and was a former Treasurer for the Northeast Chapter of the Ohio Business Brokers Association. In addition, John is an Eagle Scout and a member of the American Institute and Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
