Joe Wojtowicz, the association’s Treasurer has two areas of expertise; the first as a busines broker and owner of the Youngstown Murphy Business Sales franchise as well as with his SBA financing boutique BizLoanFunding. Joe has been a member of the association for over two decades.
In August, 2020, Joe marked 48 years in the lending industry having worked for national lenders for 36 years in both consumer and commercial lending. In 2009, he started his own independent U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Guaranteed Loan consulting and placement firm, www. BizLoanFunding.com, and today still works with small businesses nationwide primarily in SBA business acquisition funding. He has been doing business acquisition funding since the SBA allowed the financing of the intangible asset, goodwill, back in the 1990’s and estimates he’s participated in well over 125 business acquisitions over the past 25 years.
With his experience in business acquisitions, Joe also became a Murphy Business Sales business broker five years ago and holds the designation, Certified Mergers and Acquisitions Intermediary (CMAI), commercial real estate / business consultant for lower middle-market enterprises and main street style businesses.
Joe holds a BA degree in Economics & Business and has taken numerous courses and training over the years in related coursework for both the lending and business sales industry. In addition, he also has an Ohio real estate and life insurance license. Over the years, he volunteered in various officer positions with a number of local community service organizations.
