Hi, I'm Jim Myers, and my career and life have been marked with endless curiosity. Everything I’ve done has led me here:

15 years in banking (including 8 at GE Capital), deep experience in industrial real estate investment, acquiring a regional truckload carrier, acquiring and selling a moving & logistics business (plus 2 add-ons), 15 years of business consulting (including turnarounds), and now—M&A Advisory Services delivering exceptional results.

I started GearWorks Capital because I believe business transitions deserve more than transactional service—they deserve strategic, trusted partnership.

Outside of GearWorks Capital, Jim enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife and two adult children.  Jim enjoys travel (especially to Greece), hiking, golf, and gardening. Jim belongs to Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Cleveland Heights where he formerly served as President, Treasurer and Trustee. He has been an active volunteer at St Herman’s FOCUS, a men’s shelter in Ohio City.
