Members of the Northern Ohio Business Brokers Association (NOBBA) can expect to meet and network with business brokers, intermediaries, advisors, financiers, accountants, attorneys, commercial real estate agents, wealth managers, and other business catalysts whose proximity will add value to one’s work within industries such as these and those surrounding these industries.

Member Profile
All members will be granted a profile page on the website located at nobba.org so that our membership, as well as the public, may connect with them as needed. Our business broker members will also receive some exposure for their business listing engagements through the well-known web-based business listing service BizBuySell (BBS). Brokers with an existing BBS account need only connect their BBS BrokerWorks accounts to the NOBBA portal and members without a BBS account can also enter their listings.
Referrals
Referrals are given frequently within the association. NOBBA is a great place to meet experienced representatives for large SBA bankers specializing in acquisitions large and small as well as to find smaller boutique lenders that are known for their attention to detail and financing under specialized circumstances. Within the membership of the association one will find a wealth of knowledge and referral opportunities amongst the many brokers, intermediaries, and professional affiliate members.
Co-Brokering Opportunities
The association also strives to create an environment fertile with opportunities for brokers to co-broke their business offerings. Co-brokering is encouraged but not insisted upon or regulated by the association. It is understood that in the state of Ohio, the decision to co-broker with another of our members is entirely optional and often has as much to do with the relationship between those two brokers as it does the needs of our clients. Brokers will often discuss their business offerings with the association as it is understood that the conversations about these offerings are held in strict confidence. Members and guests are asked to sign statements of Non-disclosure to remind us all of the confidential nature of the majority of our work.
Ongoing Education
Members can also expect to be educated in our monthly meetings held on the last Wednesday of most months from 11:30AM to 1PM. We typically meet at Melt Bar and Grilled in Independence Ohio where we purchase lunch and network with each other. As is the case for many networking groups and associations such as ours, we are currently meeting over Zoom until it is safe to meet in person.
