SBA Update with Huntington Bank

One of the most important educational events of the year. NOBBA’s Sponsor, Huntington Bank, with Romona Davis and Nathan Sable will be leading a discussion helping us to unpack the new SBA lending regulations. Although we have been through many changes in the Small Business Administration’s standard operating procedures over the years, this year’s changes seem to be fraught with more confusion and contention than in year’s past. With that in mind, It’s a good thing that Marilyn Landis, President of Basic Business Concepts will also be on hand to provide her insight into the changes happening at the SBA. Marilyn’s position on the SBA Ombudsman’s Regulatory Fairness Board, keeps her uniquely “in the know” when it comes to these matters, and we are quite fortunate to have her expertise at our disposal.

  • Will the banks be lending on partial ownership changes?
  • Underwriting on SBA loans under 500k has been simplified, how will that affect our smaller transactions?
  • The Franchise registry list is a thing of the past, what does that mean in regard to financing the acquisition of a franchise business?
  • Zero equity injection requirement? Is this for real?

We will discuss all of these questions and more!
