Patrick Muscenti has spent his life immersed in the insurance world. His father founded an insurance agency that Patrick joined a few years outside of college. From there, Patrick went on to start, acquire, and divest of two independent insurance agencies. Now an executive with The McGowan Companies, Patrick works with owners, C level executives, finance directors, in house risk managers, and anyone else that needs help navigating the complicated world of insurance.

In the past year, he has helped 13 companies walk through mergers, acquisitions, and subsidiary creations. This includes

• 3 low-income housing tax credit deals
• 3 British firms forming American domiciles
• A construction firm transition from an LLC to ESOP
• 6 “asset only” purchases

In the community, Patrick serves as President-Elect of the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriting Society in Cleveland. He also serves on the board of Welcome House, non-profit dedicated to helping individuals with developmental disabilities through residential services in the atmosphere of a caring community. Finally, he serves on the elder board of King’s Cross Church in Cleveland. Patrick lives in Shaker Heights with his wife and family.
