The Northern Ohio Business Brokers Association (NOBBA) is pleased to announce that Dorinda A. Byers, Business Development Consultant with the Ohio Auditor of State under Keith Faber, will be our featured speaker on February 25, 2026. Dorinda brings more than two decades of experience in business development, organizational effectiveness, and public sector outreach, working closely with local governments, businesses, and community organizations throughout Ohio.

During her presentation, Dorinda will discuss her role within the Auditor of State’s office and how her team supports transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency across public entities. A key focus of her talk will be fraud prevention, including common red flags, practical steps businesses and advisors can take to reduce risk, and how the Auditor of State’s office serves as a resource when fraud or misuse of funds is suspected. This session will be highly relevant for business brokers and advisors who regularly work with business owners, buyers, and financial information.
